Abstract

Im Zentrum dieses Textes steht der Zwiespalt zwischen zwei grundlegenden Positionierungen eines reformkommunistischen Intellektuellen der 2. Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts, die zugleich die zwei Rollen darstellen, die Eduard Goldstücker in seinem Leben eingenommen hat: die eines kommunistischen intellektuellen Mittäters und die eines Opfers politischer Verbrechen des kommunistischen Regimes. Dieser Zweispalt wird in keiner der vielen Fassungen bzw. Fragmente von Goldstückers Memoiren, die der vorliegenden Analyse zugrunde liegen, ganz aufgelöst, wird jedoch vielfach unterschiedlich gespiegelt, u. a. als textinterne Kontroverse mit dem Ko-Autor von Goldstückers Memoiren, dem ebenfalls exilierten tschechischen Intellektuellen Jiří Gruša.

Klíčovým bodem tohoto textu je rozpor mezi dvěma pozicemi reformně-komunistického intelektuála 2. pol. 20. století, které jsou současně dvěma rolemi Eduarda Goldstückera: rolí komunistického intelektuálního "spolustrůjce" režimu na jedné straně, a rolí oběti politických zločinů tohoto režimu na straně druhé. Tento rozpor není v žádné z verzí Goldstückerových memoárů, které jsou hlavní látkou naší analýzy, zcela vyřešen, zrcadlí se však v těchto textech vždy v rozdílných proporcích, např. jako kontroverze se spoluautorem Goldstückerových memoárů, spisovatelem a prominentním exilovým intelektuálem, Jiřím Grušou.

Abstract (in English)

In the center of this statement conflict between two fundamental positions of a reform-communist intellectuals of the second is Half of the 20th Century, which also constitute the two roles that Eduard Goldstücker has taken in his life: that of a communist intellectual accomplice and a victim of political crimes of the communist regime. This two-gap is completely dissolved in any of the many versions or fragments of Goldstücker memoirs, which the present analysis is based, but is often mirrored differently, such as a text-internal controversy with the co-author of Goldstücker memoirs, which also exiled Czech intellectuals Jiří Gruša.
