Abstract

MIaSMath is a library for search systems based on the opensource fulltext engine Apache Lucene or the favourite searching platform Apache SOLR. The library enables the processing of mathematics encoded in MathML format for the purpose of indexing and searching. In addition to the standard Lucene tokenizer API, the library also provides a direct MathML to Mterms (and vice versa) conversion for other purposes, e.g. math-aware LSA.
