Abstract

Der Schwerpunkt des Buches liegt in der Förderung von Menschen mit Behinderung in einigen Ländern. Die Aufmerksamkeit wird folgenden Themen geschenkt: Strategien in der Bildung, Beschäftigung und Arbeitserfahrungen von Menschen mit Behinderung und Benachteiligung, Stigmatisierung aufgrund von Behinderung, Lebensbedingungen oder institutioneller Betreuung und Kunst als Möglichkeit für Selbstäußerung und Entwicklung. Das Hauptthema ist die Teilhabe von Menschen mit Behinderung am Leben in der Gesellschaft und Bedingungen, die dazu beitragen. Im Buch werden die Situationen in verschiedenen Ländern zusammen mit Ergebnisse aus Forschungsstudie dargestellt.

Tato monografie je zaměřena na podporu osob se speciálními potřebami v několika zemích. Pozornost je věnována vzdělávání a strategiím při vzdělávání, uplatnění na trhu práce a pracovním zkušenostem osob s postižením či znevýhodněním. Dále se některé kapitoly zaměřují na stigmatizaci vznikající z důvodu postižení, životních podmínek či institucionální péči a uměleckou tvorbu jako možnost (sebe)vyjádření a rozvoje. Hlavním tématem monografie je participace osob s postižením na životě ve společnosti a podmínky, jak k ní přispět. Situace v různých zemích je zde znázorněna společně s výsledky výzkumných studií.

Abstract (in English)

This book focuses on the support of people with special needs in several countries. Attention is given to education and strategies in it, employment and working experiences of people with disabilities and disadvantage. Further on, some chapters concentrate on labelling (stigma) arising on the basis of disability, living conditions or institutional care and art creation as a possibility of (self-)expression and development. The main topic of this book is the participation of people with disabilities in the life in society and the conditions which can contribute to it. The situations in several countries together with the results of the research studies are presented here.
