Abstract
The paper discusses a proposal of innovative combination of two various approaches used during a curriculum planning lifecycle. Outcome-based and process-oriented paradigms are introduced regarding the need for replacing current models in tertiary education. Outcome-based education helps teachers to tell students more precisely what is expected of them and is being implemented in many institutions. On the other side, process-oriented paradigm can strongly enhance the design of curriculum composition. The basic goal of this contribution is to highlight a challenge how to find general concept for planning and construction of the curriculum and course structure, followed by theoretical background of learning.
