Studie je analýzou hlavních motivů Shakespearova Hamleta z hlediska dobových náboženských sporů o ospravedlnění vírou a skutky a z hlediska dobových filosofických disputací o hodnotě klasické morální teorie, vyjádřené v Aristotelově Etice Nikomachově, v kontextu teologie sola fide.
