Our empirical research targets this area, specifically questions the use of ICT in non-formal education and informal learning coaches handball. Empirical research was to analyze the specific forms and methods of use of information technology (video channels, social networks, electronic databases, websites, computer programs, smart phones, etc.) in non-formal education and informal learning of coaches. The research had two phases. In the first phase was used a questionnaire which was then distributed to coaches, couching various sports. Data were collected from 200 coaches. After quantitative evaluation survey were made case studies (interviews) with three selected coaches of handball. The research showed that ICT trainers commonly used both in personal life and their coaching. In connection with the trainer activity, predominates using one-way communication, especially the study – methodic guidelines. Two-way communication, such as Internet e-learning courses, forums, webinars, etc. using significantly less. Coaches do not use ICT in their direct coaching too often during training or a match, while particularly at the top level usually work on a computer with video. The final analysis compares the use of ICT men and women, where women express greater satisfaction with the available form and content, but use less than men for informal learning, while discussing several issues their coaching work with others over the Internet. Trainers with international experience reported sophistication of ICT use for coaching profession in other countries (the performance of selected examples from Norway). ER -
