Kniha se věnuje nejen problematice citování a plagiátorství, ale přináší také metodiku pro výuku citační problematiky na všech typech škol. První část knihy je určena studentům, vyučujícím a knihovníkům pro pochopení správného citování dle normy ČSN ISO 690 a k vysvětlení jednotlivých druhů plagiátorství. Tato část je dále doplněna o přehled citačního softwaru. Druhá část knihy popisuje možnosti výuky citací. Je určena zejména pro učitele všech typů škol a knihovníky – lektory, kteří se věnují výuce informační gramotnosti a chtějí ve výuce zohlednit také citace, citování a plagiátorství. Tato část obsahuje nejen teoretické vymezení výuky, ale zejména praktické ukázky 14 aktivit, které lze ihned využít při výuce. Většina aktivit byla vyzkoušena v rámci citačních lekcí pro studenty a vyučující na Masarykově univerzitě a také na dalších školách a knihovnách. Na závěr knihy jsou uvedeny zkušenosti a doporučení lektorů, kteří se věnují výuce citací.

This book examines not only the issue of citation and plagiarism, but also provides a methodology for teaching of citing and avoiding plagiarism in all types of schools. The first part of the book is intended for students, teachers and librarians to understand how to create the correct citations according to the citation style ČSN ISO 690. There are also chapters about plagiarism and reference management systems in this part of the book. The second part of the book describes how to teach citing and how to avoid plagiarism. It is designed especially for teachers of all types of schools and for librarians. This section is not only theoretical, but there were described 14 practical activities that can be used for teaching of citing. Most activities were tested in lessons of citing and information literacy at Masaryk University and in some other schools and libraries. At the end of the book can be found experiences and recommendations of teachers who teach citing and plagiarism in their courses.
