Abstract
In the paper, we have elaborately described the design and the implementation of the VA tool EDAIME which is intended for exploratory analysis of AA data. We have successfully employed it to verify the suggested hypothesis. A further in-depth analysis with different mapping of Motion Charts variables is needed to quantify the correlations more accurately. We show that Motion Charts are a very illustrative and clear mechanism for presenting simultaneous study progress of students admitted to bachelor study of the Faculty of Informatics Masaryk University between the years of 2006 and 2008.
