Abstract

Článek vychází z experimentů řešících otázky technologie výroby vrcholně středověké keramiky, které proběhly v letních měsících roku 2013 v centru FF MU pod záštitou Ústavu archeologie a muzeologie FF MU, od vyhledávání a testování jílů, míchání hrnčířských hlín přes formování nádob, včetně formování nádob s keramickou značkou na dně, po výpal v replice středověké pece.

Abstract (in English)

This article is based on experiments exploring the production technology of pottery in the high Middle Ages that took place in the summer of 2013 at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University, under the auspices of the Institute of Archaeology and Museology. The experiments involved search for and testing of clays and their blending, the shaping of vessels (including those with a ceramic mark on the bottom) and their firing in a replica of a medieval kiln.
