Abstract

Vanishing lung syndrome představuje terminální formu bulózní degenerace plicního parenchymu. Chirurg se s onemocněním setkává jedině v případě komplikací ve smyslu perforace buly s následným pneumotoraxem nebo infekcí dutiny buly. Nejasný nález na skiagramu hrudníku při recentní dusnosti může vést k diagnostickým a terapeutickým rozpakům. Cílem práce je formou kazuistiky poukázat na chirurgické komplikace syndromu mizející plíce.

Abstract (in English)

Vanishing lung syndrome represents the end-stage of bullous lung disease. The condition is encountered by the surgeon only in case of complications such as perforation of a bulla with subsequent pneumothorax or infection of the bulla cavity. Unclear findings on an X-ray combined with acute dyspnea may cause diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties. The case report presents surgical complications of vanishing lung syndrome.
