Abstract
L´article aborde la problématique de al traduction ou de la non-traduction de deux grandes catégories de noms propres, anthroponymes et toponymes, relevés dans un corpus composé de plusieurs traduction tcheques de deux romans hugoliens, Les Misérables et Notre-Dame de Paris. L´objectif de l´étude est de définir les procédés traductologiques employés pour la traduction des anthroponymes et des toponymes par différents traducteurs.
Abstract (in English)
The article discusses the problem of translation or non-translation of two main categories of proper names, anthroponyms and toponyms, found in a corpus composed of several Czech translations of two Hugolian novels, including Les Misérables and Notre-Dame de Paris. The aim of the study is to define the process used to translate anthroponyms and toponyms by different translators.
