| Příspěvek zkoumá dvě Aristotelova vysvětlení zdroje pohybu a změny ve světě - jednak zavedení specifického prvku (aithéru), jednak odkaz na nejvyšší jsoucno (prvního nehybného hybatele). Ukazuje se, že toto druhé vysvětlení má v rámci celého Aristotelova systému větší význam. |

| My paper deals with two Aristotle's explanations of the source of all movement and change in the cosmos: The first explanation introduces the specific element (aether), the other derives all movement from the first unmoved mover. It is shown that the second explanation is more important with respect to the whole Aristotle's system. |
