It can be described as a dynamic process that is reflected in the tendency for a group to stick together and remain united in the pursuit of its instrumental objectives and/or for the satisfaction of member affective needs and by many authors is regarded as one of the most important group variable in sport teams. The purpose of our study was to examine the association between players positions (forward, defence and goal) in ice-hockey, soccer and handball and perceived team cohesion using the GEQ. Despite the fact, that players from the interactive sports (such as soccer, ice-hockey and handball) have their specific roles and tasks, they need to cooperate and create a cohesive team. Comprehension of differences and similarities of the constituent players position uniqueness can contribute sport psychologists as well as team sport trainers. ER -
