Abstract

Předložený studijní materiál hodlá sloužit studentům a vědeckým pracovníkům k pochopení základních i rozšiřujících statistických metod vhodných k analýze dat v kinantropologickém výzkumu. Studijní materiál již předpokládá znalost základních statistických pojmů. Přesto, pokud si čtenář nebude jistý významem termínů nebo probíranou problematikou, mu studijní materiál nabízí formou externích odkazů vysvětlení daného problému. Studijní materiál se úmyslně snaží zjednodušovat jednotlivé statistické metody, ač je zřejmé, že k jejich použití je nezbytné znát širší a podrobnější souvislosti. Příklady zde použité pocházejí z reálných výzkumů, někdy jsou data používána k doplnění výkladu dané statistické metody.

Abstract (in English)

Presented study material is aimed at serving both the students and researchers in understanding both basic and extended statistical methods suitable for the data analysis in the kinanthropology research. Study material already assumes knowledge of the basic statistical terms. Nevertheless if the reader is not sure if he understands the meaning of term or the presented topic correctly, there are external links in the text with explanation of the terms or the issue. Study material tries to present statistical methods in a simple way even if it is clear that for their use, knowledge of wider and more detailed context is essential. Examples presented in the text come from the real items of research, sometimes data is used to supplement presentation of the given statistical method.
