Abstract
Searching for contrasts and paralels from the Central European perspective. What have the literatures of Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Island in common today? Only historical roots, literary traditions, thematic focus, or actual European integration aspects? The most important authors representing the relationship to the neighbour culture. Some notes on the exploration and research within Scandinavian Studies in Central Europe (Austria, Poland, Slovakia).
