Konference se konala ke 100. výročí zahájení Velké války. Jejím cílem bylo osvětlit některé méně známé aspekty války v historii, kultuře a literatuře slovanských národů.

The conference was held to mark the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the Great War. Its goal was to highlight some of the lesser known aspects of the war in history, culture and literature of the Slavic nations.
