Abstract
Malignant head and neck cancer is the fifth most common group of malignant tumours of man. In the Czech Republic it is found some three thousand new cases per year. Their agressive biological behaviour with high tendency to relapse is presented by an extensive morbidity and mortality mostly on account of a late diagnostic of advanced tumours.
