Abstract |
---|
There are several lectins from opportunistic pathogens in the AAL lectin family. They share the same fold, however they differ in binding site organization and specificity. We combine the functional studies with X-ray crystallography in order to understand the properties of whole lectins as well as their individual binding sites. |

V rodině lektinů AAL je několik lektinů z příležitostných patogenů. Mají stejný fold, ale liší se uspořádáním vazebných míst a specifitou. V našem výzkumu kombinujeme funkční studie a rentgenovou krystalografii, abychom pochopili vlastnosti jak celých lektinů tak jejich jednotlivých vazebných míst. |
