Abstract
Increasing efficiency in the functioning of public administration represents one of ways of the main public budget savings. An effective tool for real grasp of the problem solving of public administration management is the modelling and simulation of processes. Software environment Witness is an appropriate tool for modelling and simulation of economic and administrative processes. The statistical results of process simulations serves to support qualified decisions in the context of the management activities of public authorities. The illustrate case will be described specifics of use this tool in the organization of public administration and the impacts of simulation results on management activities in the organization.
