In English

The aim of this paper is to introduce children’s language in the novel by Irena Douskova Hrdy Budzes. This language is conditioned by the influence of socialism in the Czech Republic in the 70’s, and it is interesting as a linguistic and translational phenomenon. A Czech to Bulgarian translation analysis will help to describe its special features. Individuality and stereotype of this language are a memory to our childhood and common past.
