Abstract

Článek prezentuje písemné a ikonografické prameny z přelomu 19. století, které ukazují charakter obyvatel regionu Haná, jejich charakteristický výraz, oblíbené jídlo a oděv. Literární prameny, topografické práce a obrazové dokumentace přispěly k vytváření určitého stereotypu ve vnímání obyvatel Hané jako svébytného charakteru typického pro střední Moravu.

Abstract (in English)

The article presents written and iconographic sources from the turn of the 19th century which show the character traits of the inhabitants of the region of Haná, their characteristic expression, favourite food and clothing. Literary sources, topographic works, and pictorial documentation contributed to the creation of a certain stereotype in the perception of the inhabitant of Haná as a peculiar character typical for central Moravia.
