Abstract

IConference je každoroční setkání vědců z řady oborů věnujících se problémům spojeným s rolí informací v současné společnosti. Konference se koná od roku 2005, tradičně v USA. Letos se konference poprvé přesunula z USA do Evropy. V pořadí 8. ročník konference hostila berlínská Humboldtova univerzita (The Berlin School of Library and Information Science). Na každoročně konanou konferenci se sjíždějí vědecké špičky z různých uznaných i aspirujících i-Škol, aby sdílely výsledky svých výzkumů a koordinovaly svoji činnost při směřování a rozvoji celého hnutí.

Abstract (in English)

iConference is annual symposium of scientist from broad spectrum of fields concerned with a role of information in contemporary society. iConference is organized from 2005, traditionally in USA. This year it was held first time in Europe. 8. annual symposium was hosted by Humboldt University in Berlin. Every year top sciencist from broad community of i-Schools comes together to share their research and to coordinate their activities to head movement towards new ways and development.
