Abstract

Der Sermon Diliges Dominum Deum, die erste Synodalpredigt von Jan Hus, wurde auf der Synode des heiligen Lukas am 18. Oktober 1405 gehalten. Dieser Text, der in Form der scholastischen thematischen Predigt geschrieben ist, behandelt weitgehend geläufige Problematiken der zeitgenössischen Kirche, speziell Versündigungen des Klerus wie Unzucht und Simonie. Der besondere Wert dieser Predigt besteht jedoch in dem Einleitungsteil, der komprimiert einige ekklesiologische Ansichten von Jan Hus vorstellt. Insofern davon auszugehen ist, dass diese auf ekklesiologischen Standpunkten von John Wycliff basieren, bietet diese Predigt einer den ersten Nachweise des Einflusses von Wycliffs Konzept der Kirche auf Jan Hus. Dieser Beitrag setzt sich zum Ziel, die Synodalpredigt Diliges Dominum Deum aus mehreren Perspektiven vorzustellen. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit wird nicht nur dem Inhalt und der Form der Predigt, sondern auch den Umständen ihres Auftretens und der handschriftlichen Überlieferung gewidmet.

Abstract (in English)

The sermon with central theme Diliges Dominum Deum was preached by Jan Hus as his first synodical sermon at the synod of Prague archdiocese on the occasion of St. Lucas day on the 18th of October 1405. This text, written in the form of thematic preaching, is concerned with the usual problems of the contemporary Church, especially with the sins of adultery and simony. The sermon is significant for its opening part, in which Jan Hus describes his ecclesiological opinions based on John Wycliffe's views. This occurence of Wycliffe's ecclesiology is one of the earliest evidences of his influence on Jan Hus' concept of the Church. The aim of this paper is to introduce the sermon Diliges and the context, in which it was preached. Emphasis is put not only on content, but also on the form of the sermon.
