Arbitration is one of the possible ways how to solve disputes. International commercial arbitration is the preferred way of resolution of international commercial disputes. At present days we also witness situations in which arbitration is used for solving other disputes than commercial, e.g. consumer disputes. Last but not least, investment arbitration is used for solving disputes between states and investors. All of these areas of arbitration have been already discussed in various sources; however, they still raise lot of questions and challenges. This international section deals with the current challenges to arbitration. Papers concerning international commercial arbitration, investment arbitration as well as arbitration in cross-border consumer disputes are welcomed. The aim of this section is not to discuss general aspects of arbitration. Thus, we will prefer papers analysing current problems and issues of the respective areas of arbitration.
