Dovednost práce s grafy dnes náleží k základním složkám přírodovědné gramotnosti, proto by žáci ke zvládnutí uvedeného komplexu dovedností měli být odpovídajícím způsobem motivováni. Dovednost práce s grafy je ovlivněna zejména vzhledem grafu, zkušenostmi a znalostmi studenta a kontextem, v němž se graf vyskytuje. Z těchto důvodů by se práce s grafy měla procvičovat nejen v matematice, ale i v rámci dalších vyučovacích předmětů. Cílem této práce bylo zjistit úspěšnost žáků v klíčových bodech českého vzdělávacího systému s ohledem na vzdělávání chemii při konstrukci grafu na základě číselných dat uvedených v textu a odlišit průměrné testové výsledky od výsledků nadaných žáků.

Graphing skills belong to key components of scientific literacy nowadays. This is why students should be encouraged to master this complex of skills. Graphing skills are influenced mainly by the appearance of the graph, experience and knowledge of the student and the context in which the graph is used. Therefore, graphing skills should be taught not only within mathematics but also in other subjects. The aim of this work was to test the level of chosen graphing skills in chemical context with Czech pupils at the end of lower secondary school and at the end of upper secondary school chemistry education and, at the same time, to compare average test results and the results of gifted students.
