N2 - The paper presents four activities which enhance the students' efforts when preparing for their English for specific Purposes Classes. One activity involves preparing slides for a presentation, another audio homework and two exploit discussion forums. The tasks concern productive tasks with the elements of individualized or collaborative approach. The examples are taken from legal English classes, however, they can be adapted to various other ESP settings.
