Diode laser thermal vaporization (DLTV) is an original sample introduction technique for inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP MS). The topics of quantitative DLTV analysis of discrete dried liquid samples as well as coupling of thin-layer chromatography (TLC) to DLTV were discussed.
