Abstract
Actual dietary consumption is in certain age influenced by many objective and subjective factors. In our study, the sampkle of 218 Czech university students aged 19-21 years was assessed. Food preferences of listed 138 food items were measured, using graphic scale, calibrated from absolute preference to absolute aversion. The food preference measurment was after one week period followed by food frequency questionnaire, listing the same food items. Correlation between preferences and actual consumption was calculated and the conclusion about the power of influence the real food choice were formulated.
