Abstract
E-learningový kurz organicky navazuje na tři vydání knižní publikace Sociologie v (2002–2006) a aktualizuje především aktuální problémy soudobé společnosti prizmatem sociologie. Zabývá se koncepty společnosti a socializace, akcentuje soudobý konzumní ráz naší kultury, zamýšlí se nad nejednoznačnými zdroji a dopady globalizace, vzhledem k určení textu věnuje značnou pozornost fungování soudobého sportu. Stranou pozornosti neponechává ani aktuální problematiku multikulturality soudobého světa. Stav naší proreformní společnosti je ozřejmován tématikou občanské společnosti, romské otázky a sociální patologie.
Abstract (in English)
An organic continuation of the three editions of the book Sociology in a nutshell (2002-2006), this e-learning course takes a fresh look at the current problems of the contemporary society through the sociological perspective. It deals with the concepts of society and socialization, emphasizes the consumerist nature of our contemporary culture as well as considers ill- defined sources and effects of globalization. Given the text specificity, it pays considerable attention to the functioning of contemporary sport, but it also deals with the highly topical issue of multiculturality of the contemporary world. The condition of our pro-reform society is brought to light through the issues of civil society, Romani issues and social pathology.
