Anotace

The aim of this paper is to provide a conceptual basis for addressing need of the development of the entrepreneurial competencies in sports management study programs. On the base of the specific features of sport and specific characteristics of the entrepreneurship in sport, the conceptual framework of the development of entrepreneurial competencies in sport management is presented. The teaching methods which could be appropriate for the development of the entrepreneurial spirit in the sports management study are discussed. Particular attention is paid to the development of the case studies considering the nature of the generation Y (Millennials). (C) 2015 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
