Anotace

This chapter presents the high level talks that have been initiated in the last couple of years in the United Nations concerning the negotiation and adoption of the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) – an international agreement that seeks to regulate illicit/irresponsible arms flows in the world. The analysis focuses on the scope and coverage of the treaty, the main implications for arms exporters and buyers and the whole dynamic of diplomatic bargaining.
