Abstract

V originále

Subjective measures of built environment and physical activity seem to be relevant and proved approach in assessing lifestyle in various neighborhoods. The national representative studies using common methods are needed to describe the level of lifestyle activities. The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether living in more walkable area is positively related to realization of more moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) in Czech adult population.Result of adult study will serve as the basis for currently running research in children and adolescents when comparing association of neighborhood related physical activity in youths and adults. Findings can inform policy in health and urban interventions for obesity prevention in the Czech Republic.
