Abstract
There are several analytical tools for data processing with different aims in different domains, analyzing specific data by specific algorithms, providing new views of data. These tools are usually narrowly focused on analysis part, but the whole process is more complex than just algorithm of specific analysis. This paper provides survey and describes basic four layer architecture of complex analytical tools. Based on survey findings we introduce concept of new architecture of social network analysis based knowledge base of unstructured text data. The tool will be used in project in homeland security domain, provided by the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic.
