Abstract

Práce se zabývá paleolitickým osídlením východních svahů Drahanské vrchoviny (Vyškovsko, Prostějovsko). Autor vychází z publikované literatury, souborů štípané industrie uložených v muzejních sbírkách i z výsledku vlastních sběrů a archeologického výzkumu stratifikované lokality v Želči. Kromě soupisu jednotlivých lokalit obsahuje práce také technologicko-typologickou analýzu jednotlivých souborů a kapitolu věnující se sídelním strategiím jednotlivých v oblasti zastoupených technokomplexů.

Abstract (in English)

The thesis focuses on the Palaeolithic settlement on the eastern slopes of the Drahany Highlands (Vyškov and Prostějov regions, central Moravia). Autor has used published information, lithic collections deposited in museums, results of his own surface surveys and results of the excavation of the Želeč stratified site. Apart from the site catalogue the thesis consists of the technological and typological analysis of particular lithic collections and of a chapter devoted to the analysis of settlement strategies of particular technocomplexes present in the region.
