Autor příspěvku se pokouší přiblížit, vyhodnotit a okomentovat postoje, studijní předpoklady a preference studentů spjaté s literární složkou studia jihoslovanských filologií a balkanistiky v Brně. Činí tak na základě ankety provedené mezi studenty. Zároveň si klade otázku, jak souběžně zajistit dostatečnou odbornou úroveň, přitažlivost i hospodářskou soběstačnost zmíněných oborů. Autor chce přispět k diskuzi na toto téma a nastolil některé konkrétní otázky, jež se týkají jak výuky literatur v rámci „malých“ filologií, tak pojetí studia těchto oborů jako takových.

In English

The author of the paper strives to describe, assess and comment on attitudes, capabilities and preferences of students related to the literary segment of the instruction in South Slavic Philologies and Balkan Studies in Brno. He does so on the basis of a survey carried out among the students. At the same time he dwells on a question, how to simultaneously ensure an adequate professional level, attractivity and economic self-sufficiency of the mentioned studies. The author intends to contribute to the discussion on this issue and to formulate concrete questions concerning the instruction in literatures within the frames of the „small“ philologies, as well as the conception of such studies in general.
