Abstract
In order to follow the influence of ligand substituents on the Cu(I) coordination geometry, a series of six-membered Cu(I) true heterocycles was prepared from reactions of Cu(PPh3)2NO3 with R2P(S)-NH-C(O)R’ {R’ = (CH2)3CH3, C6H5, C6H4F, C6H4Cl; R = Ph, PhO} ligands. The complexes were characterized by 31P NMR spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray diffraction.
