Abstract
The goal of this paper is to present evaluation method of investment projects in case of transport that is complementary to currently used CBA methods, HDM4 or environmental impact assessment. This method is based on five criteria of integration, stimulation, relevance, usefulness and sustainability. This methodology is used on the assessment of express road connection between Wien and Brno as one of two core transport connections between Austria and the Czech Republic. The results correspond to importance of integration criterion and to the criteria of relevance, usefulness and sustainability. The criterion of stimulation is not significant in this case.
