Abstract
This is a critical review of a recent international publication on the pragmatics of appropriated discourse in media, i.e. text is recontextualized, remediated and reused beyond its original context of production. The individual chapters are interpreted in the context of the latest developments and trends in the area of media discourse analysis and pragmatics.

Jedná se o kritickou recenzi mezinárodní publikace z oblasti pragmatiky médií, zabývající se tzv. "apropriací", tj. různými formami recontextualice, remediace a využití mediálních komunikátů mimo jejich původní kontext. Jednotlivé studie jsou interpretovány v kontextu nejnovějšího vývoje v oblasti analýzy a pragmatiky mediálního diskurzu.
