Abstract
Learning is no longer seen as a purely individual activity but also as a social process where teachers can learn from and with each other. These ideas are reflected in the increasingly popular concept of professional learning communities in schools, where teachers work collaboratively and pursue common goals to teach students in the best possible way. Based on this modeI I consider schools as a place which encourages learning in connection with project implementation. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the extent to which the group of teachers working in a project team can be considered as a professional learning community and the extent to which continuous teacher learning is taking place during project implementation.
