Abstract
Familiární hypercholesterolémie je dědičné onemocnění charakterizované vysokou koncentrací hladiny LDL cholesterolu a zrychlené aterosklerózy. Je nezbytné provést screening a stanovit včasnou diagnózu FH, protože jen dlouhodobá léčba zabrání předčasným kardiovaskulárním komplikacím.

It is necessary to conduct screening to establish early diagnosis of FH because longlife treatment is requisite to prevent early cardiovascular complications.
