Abstract
Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) are perspective medical agents especially thanks to their tunable optical and electronic properties. The AuNPs potential across all the field has been already recognised and nowdays the main interesl should be focused on the biocompatibility. A number of in vitro studies on the AuNRs cytotoxicity has been performed, but with the contradictory results.
