Abstract
This paper aims to clarify on the basis of historical data analysis, development PRIBOR impact on the development of profitability of commercial banks. Attention is also paid to their impact on risk. In parallel with the decline in the growth of PRIBOR and liabilities of the banking sector, there are changes in their profits and attitudes to risk.
