La teoria della comunicazione di Roman Jakobson risulta spesso banalizzata -- e ridotta a soli tre elementi: emittente, messaggio, destinatario -- perché schiacciata sulla contemporaneita. Nell'intervento si mostrera come tutti gli elementi contemplati da Jakobson siano invece importanti in un'ottica filologica, e come lo stesso messaggio non vada inteso come dato quanto piuttosto come processo.

Roman Jakobson's theory of communication is quite often trivialised -- and reduced to three elements only: sender, message, receiver -- since it gets flattened to contemporaneity. In the talk I shall argue that all the six elements of Jokobson's theory are instead relevant from a philological point of view, and that the message itself should be regarded as a process instead of a datum.
