Abstract

Cet article se concentre sur les adjectifs et expressions dérivées du nom propre Kafka, tant en français qu'en anglais. Nous essayons donc d'approcher au plus pres du contenu sémantique de ces adjectifs et des représentations collectives qui y sont liées. Dans ce but, nous considérons la dimension générique des textes dans lesquels ils apparaissent comme extremement importante, ainsi que le démontre notre étude contrastive. Finalement, nous tentons d'interpréter ces commentaires illustrés au regard des écrits de Kafka et de l'icone que l'écrivain est désormais devenu.

Abstract (in English)

The following article focuses on adjectives and phrases derived from the proper name Kafka, both in French and in English. Thus we try to comprehend the semantic content of these functional adjectives and the matching collective representations. In order to do it, we consider as a significant variable the generic dimension of texts in which they occur: a contrastive perspective clearly shows its key role. Finally, we attempt to interpret these illustrated comments in comparison with the writings of Kafka and the icon this author has become.
