Abstract
Abstract (in English)
Whereas studies on verbal language on comics are few, this article focuses on puns about fixes expressions and idioms in the four volumes of Silex and the City. This comics is particularly interesting from this point of view because of (i.) the high frequency of puns and (ii.) their narrative role. Indeed, these puns strongly contribute to the construction of a past fictional world parallel to the current social events. It allows the author, Jul, to evoke current stakes in this humoristic prehistoric fiction.
