Abstract

Článek se zabývá vývojem slovosledu auxiliáru préterita v raně novověkých (středněčeských) biblích: v Melantrichově, Kralické a Svatováclavské bibli. Analýza je založena na datech získaných z Matoušova evangelia. Studie navazuje na předchozí analýzu zkoumající slovosled préterita ve staročeských biblích (Kosek 2015). Podle tradičních prací zabývajících se vývojem české syntaxe (Gebauer 1929; Trávníček 1935, 1956) se auxiliární formy préterita změnily již ve staročeském období v stálá enklitika. Cílem příspěvku je určit a interpretovat všechny slovosledné pozice auxiliárních forem ve zkoumaných biblích. Pozornost je věnována zejména následujícím otázkám: 1. Jsou zkoumané auxiliární formy klitické? 2. V jaké slovosledné pozici se vyskytují? 3. Kterou pozici zaujímají v klitické skupině? 4. Jaké je pojetí postiniciální pozice - štěpí auxiliár iniciální frázi (tzv. 2W-pozice), nebo je umísťováno až za první rozvitou frázi?

Abstract (in English)

The article is focused on the development of word-order of the preterit auxiliary in the Early Modern Czech (also Middle Czech) Bibles: Melantrichova bible (Melantrich's Bible, 4th edition), Kralická bible (Kralice Bible, 1st edition) and Svatováclavská bible (St Wenceslas Bible, 1st edition). The paper is based on data gained from the Old Czech Bible translations (Gospel of Matthew). The article builds on the previous analysis examined the phenomenon in Old Czech Bibles (Kosek 2015). According to the comprehensive works dealing with Czech historical syntax (Gebauer 1929; Trávníček 1935, 1956), it can be assumed that the originally accented forms of AUXP changed into permanent clitic forms during the Old-Czech period. The aim of the paper is to detect all possible word-order positions of these preterit auxiliary forms in analyzed texts and to explain them. The attention is especially paid to the following issues: 1. Are the forms of the preterit auxiliary in Czech Bibles clitic? 2. Which clausal position do they occupy? 3. Which position do they occupy in a clitic cluster? 4. What is the status of postinitial position - does the preterit auxiliary split the first constituent (so called 2W position), or is it placed after the first constituent (2D position).
