Abstract
The proposed paper centres on the hierarchical structure of Czech public service media from a gender perspective. The paper is anchored in feminist media theories. It also discusses the gendering of media organisations as a consequence of horizontal and vertical segregation within the organization's hierarchy. The empirical part is based on the analysis of documents of the three Czech public service media. The main object of interest is the top and middle management as well as news desk staff.
