Abstract

Rakovina plic ve skupině pacientů starších 65 let je nejčastější zhoubný nádor, s nejvyšším výskytem v rozmezí 70 až 80 let, s trendem kopírování úmrtnosti. Pětiletý poměr přežití pro tuto skupinu je menší než 1 %. Autoři uvádějí své zkušenosti s léčbou rakoviny plic u starších osob a o specificích a současných možnostech.

Abstract (in English)

Lung cancer in a group of patients over 65 years is the most common malignancy, with the highest incidence in the range 70 to 80 years, with the trend of mortality copying. Unfavorable facts are documented steady growth trend of recording at the stage of generalization of the disease. The five year survival rate for this group is less than 1%. The authors report their experience in the treatment of lung cancer in the elderly and the specifics of their current options.
