Abstract

Victor Hugo zasáhl snad do všech oblastí literatury a byl i politik, jenž uměl jasně zformulovat své postoje i pocity. Jeho tvorba má ale také méně zmiňovaný rozměr, rovinu náboženskou, která je jeho neoddělitelnou součástí. Po představení autora, jeho života, proměn jeho vztahu k Bohu jsme se zaměřili na analýzu náboženských prvků v dílech Poslední den odsouzence a Bídníci.

Abstract (in English)

Victor Hugo affected practically all areas of literature, and he was too the politician who can clearly articulate his views and feelings. His work has also less mentioned dimension, a religious plane, which is its integral part. After the presentation of the author, his life, changes in his relationship to God, we focused on the analysis of the religious elements in the works Le dernier jour d un condamné and Les Miserables.
