Abstract

Přibližně v polovině minulého století vzniká v psychoterapii podivuhodná tendence nazvaná později antipsychiatrie. Zastánci tohoto směru zpochybňují metody diagnostikování a hodnocení duševních poruch, které jsou do té doby vnímány jako nebezpečné nemoci a nahlížejí na psychotiky jako na hledače nestandardní životní cesty. Kam se tyto cesty, které se liší od průměrně nastavených hranic vnímání a prožívání, ubírají, si netroufám odhadnout. Směřují patrně do smyslově stěží rozpoznatelných krajin, jež je možno prozkoumávat pouze přibližně - například skrze uměleckou tvorbu. Životní příběh Petera je určitým svědectvím nejen jeho vlastního bytí: jde o příběh, který je odrazem jistých rysů života nás všech. O to více je poutavější. Peter ve své tvorbě i ve svých úvahách překračuje sám sebe, ptá se po smyslu lidského bytí: V čem spočívá tedy hodnota člověka. Hodnota člověka samozřejmě nespočívá v oceňování druhými, ale v kvalitách jedince. Absolutní hodnota člověka je v jeho bytí, v jeho existenci „já jsem“. (napsal Peter 29. 5. 2013)

Abstract (in English)

Around the middle of the last century there is a wonderful tendency in psychotherapy later called anti-psychiatry. Proponents of this line of questioning and evaluation methods for diagnosing mental disorders, which until then perceived as a dangerous disease and look upon psychotics substandard as a seeker of life's journey. Where do these paths, which differ from the average set limits of perception and feeling, going in, I dare not guess. Apparently directed to the senses barely recognizable landscapes that you can explore just about - for example, through artistic creation. Life story of Peter is a particular testament not only to his own existence: it is a story that reflects certain features of life for us all. The more it is engaging. Peter in his work and in its deliberations beyond himself, he asks about the meaning of human existence: What is therefore the value of man. The value of man, of course, does not lie in valuing others, but the qualities of the individual. The absolute value of man in his being, his existence "I am". (wrote Peter 29. 5. 2013)
